Founded in 1927 at the Washington State College, the Alpha Kappa chapter of Phi Kappa Tau is a part of a national fraternity that fosters three core ideals within its membership: Learning. Leading. Serving.
Phi Kappa Tau includes 4,500 undergraduates in the United States, and has served more than 90,000 initiates throughout the past 108 years. Annually brothers have the opportunity to attend a variety of premier leadership and character development opportunities through the Fraternity’s Men of Character Programs. Chapters participate in philanthropic and service efforts for the SeriousFun Children’s Network and the USO.
